Christmas

Our Christmas this year was a great one. We started out at Mario's mom's house the Sunday before Christmas for dinner with all 60 or so family members. We enjoyed seeing everyone and catching up. It seems like all the kids just grow overnight! We left Sylvia's house and headed straight to my Mom's for a "Christmas Open House" is what she said but really it was a wedding reception for her and Bob. For those of you who do not know them, they have been a couple for 12 years, its about time uh? We are so happy for them.
We started a new tradition this year by not traveling Christmas day. My Dad and Sandy, Shanda and the boys came over on Christmas Eve, we ate chili and really enjoyed each others company. We went to the candlelight service at our church and headed back home for left overs. My Mom, Bob, Grandmother, Suzi and Dwayne all made it by around 12 o'clock on Christmas Day. Mario smoked a turkey on the big green egg (YUM YUM), Mom brought the dressing and some other goodies. Overall we really enjoyed this year, although different from years past it was great! I hope all had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
